Ebola virus: how concerned do we need to be?

The ebola virus is most definitely real. The question for us to ask is why are some people in Africa getting the ebola infection and others are not being infected by the ebola virus?

The only scientific reason for this occurrence is that the people who are not being infected have healthy immune systems.

God gave us an immune system that is capable of, if provided the proper environment, to kill off sickness disease including viruses and cancers.

In my last blog we talked about the relationship and importance of our nervous system and how it commands the immune cells to recognize kill and destroy a virus bacteria and or cancer cell. When we have Poor posture, that is our spine is out of line, we must realize that our poor posture interferes with the commands from our nervous system. Correcting our posture, forward head posture or kyphosis, scoliosis, forward pelvic tilt, unlevel hips unlevel shoulders, is literally vital to leading a healthy high quality life.

So what about the nutritional side? What things can we be doing nutritionally to help our immune system function as close to 100% as possible? Certainly and perhaps the most important is…..drum roll please, to cut out all refined carbohydrates, this includes sugar, brown sugar, soda pop, fruit juice, cane juice, and high fructose corn syrup (which by the way agave is approximately 70%fructose!) all of these substances are immunosuppressive. Green leafy vegetables preferably organic are so important to a healthy functioning nervous system and immune system. I would also suggest being tested for gluten sensitivity which can be very very immunosuppressive. One of the best ways is through a lab called Enterolab in Dallas.

Next and perhaps just as important, get your vitamin D levels checked. Some authorities feel your vitamin D level should be 80 to 100 mg/ml and of course vitamin C preferably a non-corn-based vitamin C vitamin A and a very high-quality probiotic. These nutrients will help ensure a healthy GI tract which is so vital to your overall immune system and nervous system function.

Of course there are other nutrients that are important to normal nervous system and immune system function. You can call our office and make an appointment to be checked for these nutrients, as well as have your posture and spine checked to see if there are any interference causing the brain’s commands going, to not only regenerate/heal but instruct the cells in your body to do their jobs to heal, weather it is an immune cell or a heart cell.
Remember your health is your greatest asset and your health is certainly a blessing to those around you. Call our office today!

Lots of love,
