Headaches, Migraines, Dizziness, Vertigo Neck Pain, Shoulder Pain, Numbness and Tingling in the Arms and/or Hands (similar to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) could all be caused by the same thing.
How is your head posture?
Science is clear that forward head posture causes serious disease. How many people can we think of that we know, right now, that have forward posture… obviously quite a few! the Journal of the American medical Association clearly states that forward head posture can shorten your lifespan and decrease your quality of life. Have you ever turned your head and neck and then heard a little bit of sand or grinding noise for just for a split moment, or even longer? have you ever asked yourself what that is?
That grinding is degeneration decay in the bone and the disc. Caused by the abnormal stresses that forward head posture puts onto your spine. The Mayo Clinic has stated this clearly in their research on forward head posture over and over again. Please remember that your neck and that the base of your skull are such vital areas, obviously along with your brain, that if there’s any Abnormal stress or damage to those areas your body in many instances will do it’s best to tell you about this by creating symptoms like headaches, migraines, dizziness, vertigo neck pain, shoulder pain, and even numbness and tingling in the arms and/or hands, as we see in carpal tunnel syndrome. In my 35 years of practice I have had so many cases of shoulder pain that were really an effect of forward head postures and/or a straightening of the curvature in the neck. I will speak more about that in a future blog.
